Unsolved Crimes April 11, 2008 (Robinson, IL) -- Crawford County Crimestoppers is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arre ![]() st of the people involved in hitting 5-year-old Codie Pusey in Sullivan County, Indiana Tuesday night. Pusey is a former Oblong, Illinois resident. The Indiana State Police say the suspect vehicle is a red, 4-door passenger car with customization to the lower body, and a rear spoiler on the trunk. They say it also has fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror and a fairly loud exhaust. They believe that the car has front end damage and possible windshield damage. They also believe that three teenagers were in the car at the time and the driver may be a male. Codie Pusey was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after the accident and he remains there. The $1000 reward is the largest reward offered by Crimestoppers to date. On February 17th, police took a report that someone stole a two-to-three foot tall Colorado Blue Spruce tree from 501 East Pine. January 9, 2008 On January 6th, R&B Resources reported to the Sheriff's Office that someone opened valves to oil tanks at the Hargis Lease on 1500N west of 200E. The Ross Oil Company reported that someone opened valves on tanks at the Hanes Lease a half-mile south of 1600N on 225E. The 3-wheeler has a windshield and motorcycle handle bars, it is a Red 1985 Honda 250. The theft occurred between Friday night and this morning. On 08-13-05 at 12:45 a.m., Nicholas J. Charlet D.O.B. 01-28-84, of Bellerose, LA, was arrested for DUI, Improper Lane Usage following a traffic stop at ST HWY 33 on the west side of Robinson. Sometime between 7/6/05 and 7/8/05 someone took a Honda generator out of a storage shed at 1615 West Walnut. The generator is a Honda EM6500 and is valued at about $3,200. Palestine -- Counterfeit Money Palestine Police Chief Jim Clark says that there was an incident of counterfeit money passed in Palestine. Clark says that the bill was passed at a local business and caught by a local bank. He says the bill is a copy of the older style twenty dollar bill and does not have the anti counterfeit measures of the newer 20 dollar bills. He says it appears that this bill was made by a copy machine, is slightly smaller than a regular bill, and the ink did not completely cover the extreme right end of the back. The serial number is C-B 558-230-77-C. Police Chief Jim Clark says one happened in the 300 block of South Main and the other happened in the 400 block of South Main. He says power tools and equipment were taken from the garage, including Makita cordless drills, a cordless Sawzall, a Craftsman skill saw, a Black and Decker circular saw, and a Makita router. He also says that the garages were unlocked, and he says that people need to make sure they keep everything locked up, especially after dark. 3/21/05 On March 20, 2005 someone drove a vehicle across the greens at Oak Glen Golf Course. Police Chief Jim Clark says it happened Friday night around 9:50 at 403 South Main. Two citizens saw someone that they thought matched the description of the man that got into another house on February 25th. He's described as about a 15 or 16 year old white male with dark hair, a slender to medium build, and around 5-foot-6. This time he wore an orange hooded sweatshirt. The two citizens yelled at him after he pulled up his hood and started splitting a window screen at 403 South Main. He took off running and was lost in the area of 413 South Main. A Police search didn't turn up the suspect.
